Purposes of the processing activity

Video surveillance of parking lots, entrances, and warehouses to exercise property rights and access control.

Legal basis of the processing activity

The processing is necessary for the purpose of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller according to Art. 6 section 1 point (f) of the GDPR in connection with § 4 BDSG. No interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject override these interests since the recordings are only allowed to be used for the specified purpose within a short timeframe and are deleted afterwards.

Retention period of personal data

Legitimate interest to protect the premises from trespassers. On the premises are highly sensitive data and devices. These must be protected from theft and damage. The video surveillance enables us to prevent break-ins and tailgating and efficiently pursue incidents. Without incident the recordings will be deleted automatically after 7 days.

Rights of the data subject

You have a right to receive information (pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR) from the controller about the personal data concerning you as well as a right of rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of the processing (Art. 18 (1) GDPR). In addition, you have a right to object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR) as well as the right of data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
