The Institute of Computer Science, University of Paderborn, has a new professorship for Distributed Embedded Systems – donated by dSPACE GmbH, Paderborn. Embedded systems integrate computers into technical environments and are increasingly implemented in distributed form, for example, advanced driver assistance and safety systems in passenger cars, which are connected to numerous actuators, sensors and different computer systems within the vehicle, and in the future also outside it
