ModelDesk 2023-A

OpenDRIVE 1.6 support; optimized parameter download; easy specifying of lane topologies

ModelDesk supports the OpenDRIVE 1.6 version. You can now download a ModelDesk Plug-In from the dSPACE website that lets you import OpenDRIVE files in version 1.6.
The download of parameter values of large models has been optimized. Now it is much more performant.
In the Road Generator, you can now specify the lane topologies in a more convenient way. Presupposed you have specified all lanes of the road elements connected to a junction, you can link the lanes across the junction by selecting the succeeded lanes from the context menu of a lane. When you have created such lane links, you can assign signal groups of the junction's V2X traffic light controller to them. This assigns the traffic lights that a valid for these lanes. A preview can show you the signal events of all lane links in a chronological order. This allows to recognize a misconfiguration very quickly.
