Introduction
This patch can be installed only after the installation of dSPACE Release 5.2.
Problems Fixed by This Patch
When you update to dSPACE Release 5.2 and reopen your existing model, the RTICAN Controller Setup blocks in the model determine wrong values for the CAN controller frequencies and for the bit timing registers BTR0 and BTR1.
As a result, CAN communication on the related CAN controllers will be corrupt.
The patch fixes the problem described above.
Limitations
The patch fixes the problem described above only if you have not yet opened and saved the Simulink® model after upgrading to dSPACE Release 5.2.
Otherwise, use the workaround described in the Installation Notes file.
