A hardware-in-the-loop-based validation and verification process for beginners

Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing has been regarded as the tried-and-tested method for verification and validation of embedded control functions for many years. HIL testing is applied successfully at different stages in the verification and validation process (V&V process). Its application ranges from functional tests to component tests, integration tests, and tests of networked systems.

In a series of three webinar sessions, you will learn how to effectively conduct tests of embedded control functions using HIL test systems and the related tool chain: starting with the general structure of a HIL test system and its configuration, to the efficient use of the test system by means of test automation and test management, up to the integration of the test system into a verification and validation process and its usage in safety-critical projects to reach for example ISO 26262 compliance.
