Siemens VDO Automotiveが開発中の新しい電子制御ウェッジブレーキの性能が非常に高いことがテストドライブにより証明されました。エキスパートの間で特に高い評価を得たのがそのダイナミクスと減速性能です。このブレーキは技術的に非常に高度で、操作には強力な制御システムを必要とします。Siemens VDO Automotiveは、システム開発と実車テストのツールとしてモジュラー方式のdSPACE プロトタイパーを使用しています。ブレーキの制御はこのツールを使って開発しています。さらに、ブレーキシステム全体のFlexRayネットワークの開発にもdSPACEのFlexRayツールが使用されています。
