Virtual ECU testing using SIL, Cloud environment By using a Virtual ECU (V-ECU), simulation can be performed on a PC or in the cloud, even if the actual ECU does not exist. With an environment with V-ECUs, development can be started even before an actual ECU is prepared, which leads to a shorter development period. Efficient tesitng : Test automation, CI/CD, Homologation Although SILS/HILS testing has been used up to now, there are increasing demands for testing with parameter variations and reputation of tests with different combinations of software in software development. In order to efficiently execute tests with different parameters and repetitive combination tests, test automation and CI/CD (Continuous Integration, Continuous Development) are necessary. dSPACE has been working on the development of new software over the air update (SOTA) systems in Europe. This presentation introduces how dSPACE has built a framework for future Software Over-the-Air update (SOTA) in Europe. |
Cybersecurity solutions As modern vehicles become more connected, autonomous, and generally more software-defined, the automotive industry faces new cybersecurity challenges. While new features in the areas of advanced infotainment services, V2X, software over-the-air-updates, and ADAS/AD functions greatly enhance the overall driving experience, they inevitably increase the attack surface for cyber-attacks. As a reaction, UN R155 and ISO 21434 demand to address cybersecurity through all stages of development including validation of countermeasures against disturbance by external intrusion. In this session, we give an overview of automotive cybersecurity testing and the solutions dSPACE offers. |
