Astos Solutions GmbH

Astos Solutions GmbH is a dSPACE Product Partner for analysis, simulation, trajectory optimization, animation, and visualization of mission analysis results in space applications.

Astos Solutions GmbH is an SME founded 2006 in Stuttgart, Germany, that provides innovative software and hardware solutions to reduce costs and reliably increase productivity. The products and services are targeted for all space missions, such as launch vehicle ascent, constellation, rendezvous, orbit transfer with electric propulsion, interplanetary flight, and landing. Applications of the software include trajectory and vehicle design optimization, mission, and system concept simulation, GNC/AOCS design and analysis, space debris and launch vehicle ascent safety and risk analysis, failure budget development, and magnetic cleanliness. Powerful visualization capabilities enable calculation of drag and solar radiation perturbations for sail applications. A seamless workflow from model to processor to hardware-in-the-loop simulation is embedded in validation facilities. The Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) product family is extended by a reconfigurable SCOE for Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS) based on dSPACE components, a GNSS simulator, and a camera and LIDAR simulator for real-time testing of visual navigation algorithms. From spacecraft and mission design to verification, ASTOS offers a unique range of capabilities with off-the-shelf and individualized solutions.
