The Challenge

To frontload function analysis and validation for EPS controls by means of simulation.

The Solution

Simulating steering behavior with ASM Vehicle Dynamics and a new sophisticated steering model. The steering model simulates up to 3 DoF and supports rack-based as well as pinion-based EPS. The model includes different types of interfaces for simulation with mechanical test benches.
