Model-based design and automatic code generation also lend themselves to developing AUTOSAR software components (SWCs). The advantages of this approach, and its similarity to conventional modelbased projects, are demonstrated by Version 3.1 of TargetLink, the dSPACE production code generator, which will be released at the end of this year.
