End-of-Line Testing of Radar Sensors

The Task

End-of-line test of a radar control unit installed in the vehicle.

The Challenge

To ensure that the radar control units function properly before the vehicle is delivered, they must be tested in the vehicle.

The Solution

The mobile or stationary DARTS systems, lets you quickly test radar sensors directly in the vehicle. DARTS is positioned in front of an active sensor. Whether the generated echo was correctly detected can be evaluated via the CAN bus, for example. The function of the ECU can be verified by comparing the detected objects output on the CAN bus with the generated echo.
