ELASIS gehört zu Fiat, bietet Engineering-Service und arbeitet hauptsächlich für "Fiat Auto" und im Joint Venture "Fiat-GM Powertrain" (FGP), das auf dem Gebiet Fahrzeug und Antriebsstrang forscht und entwickelt. ELASIS spielt in vielen Innovationen eine Schlüsselrolle. Kürzlich nahm ELASIS ein Netzwerk aus dSPACE-Simulatoren für den Test von Steuergeräte-Verbünden neuer Fahrzeugmodelle in Betrieb. Diese Testumgebung hebt sich in Bezug auf Flexibilität deutlich von anderen ab und ist für eine Vielzahl an Fahrzeugmodellen geeignet. Erfolgreiche Projekte wurden bereits im Fiat Stilo umgesetzt.
