Der 1001-PS-starke Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron soll der schnellste und teuerste Serien-Pkw werden. Damit auch bei einer Geschwindigkeit von über 400 km/h für aktive Sicherheit gesorgt ist, kommen verschiedene Steuergeräte zum Einsatz. Das Verhalten dieser Steuergeräte wurde mit dSPACE Simulator von Bugatti zunächst intensiv im Labor validiert. Sowohl im Einzeltest als auch im Systemverbund können die Funktionen effizient und ohne Gefahr für Fahrer oder Auto getestet werden.
