Die AUTOSAR-Initiative stellt zweifellos eine der wichtigsten und zukunftsträchtigsten Entwicklungen im Automobilbereich überhaupt dar. Für die effiziente Software-Entwicklung gemäß AUTOSAR ist insbesondere der unterstützende Einsatz von Tools essentiell, nicht zuletzt bei der Entwicklung der eigentlichen Applikationssoftware in Form von AUTOSAR-Software-Komponenten. Durch die Erweiterung existenter Code-Generatoren kann diesen Anforderungen Rechnung getragen werden.
