Das dSPACE Release 4.2 erweitert diverse dSPACE-Werkzeuge um eine Reihe neuer Möglichkeiten: Die Testautomatisierungssoftware AutomationDesk bietet neue Optionen zur Reportkonfiguration sowie Zugriffsmöglichkeiten auf Applikations- und Messwerkzeuge und das Softing Diagnostic Tool Set DTS7. Die Experimentierumgebung ControlDesk erlaubt die Ausführung komplexer Fahrmanöver mittels Joystick oder Lenkrad. Die 3D-Animationssoftware MotionDesk schließlich wurde um neue Analysemöglichkeiten erweitert.
