End-of-Life Information

The end-of-life of the Automotive Ethernet Embedded PC Bundle  is planned for August 30, 2023. As of this date, no services of any kind will be available for this product. We advise against using the Automotive Ethernet Embedded PC Bundle  in new projects. New Releases of the Automotive Ethernet Embedded PC Bundle will be available for customers with a Software Maintenance Service Contract until August 30, 2022.

Successor

The Automotive Ethernet Embedded PC Bundle was used with a MicroAutoBox II to enable real-time automotive Ethernet communication with SOME-IP​. With the introduction of the MicroAutoBox III, the next generation in-vehicle prototyping system from dSPACE, the real-time automotive Ethernet support including SOME-IP communication is directly integrated in the product. Therefore, the MicroAutoBox III is more than just a suitable replacement. It offers higher performance and a more convenient tool chain for an even more effective price. Consequently, we recommend that you use the new MicroAutoBox III when starting new prototyping projects with service-oriented (SOME/IP) Ethernet communication.
