ASM Truck Trailer Traffic Model

The ASM Truck Trailer Traffic Model demonstrates the handling and simulation behaviour of ASM traffic components as add-ons to the ASM Truck Trailer Demo model.

ASM Traffic includes components that simulate other vehicles, two-wheelers, or pedestrians. In combination with the Truck Trailer Demo model, it equips the Ego Truck with various sensors to detect fellows or static objects at within the environment. The model can be used as a basis for developing and testing ADAS ECUs, for example, ACC, AEB, LKA, and automated driving.

A complete overview of all ASM traffic components can be found in the product documentation for ASM Traffic.

Installation

  • Please download the dSPACE_ASM_TruckTrailer_Traffic zip file.
  • This zip file contains a MotionDesk, ControlDesk, and ModelDesk project, as well as the simulation model and all initialization files required for parameterizing the traffic components and the truck trailer variants for a truck with a full trailer and a truck with a semi-trailer. Extract the complete .zip folder.
  • Now the ASM Truck Trailer Traffic Model can be used in MATLAB like any other ASM demo model.

Requirements

  • Licenses for ASM Truck, ASM Trailer, ASM Traffic
