Founded in 2003, the objective of AUTOSAR was to establish an industry standard in the field of automotive software architecture for OEMs and suppliers. Ten years later, this forward-looking initiative has achieved remarkable results by reshaping a whole industry’s development approach. Time has come to also review the impact on tool providers such as dSPACE that are important stakeholders in this changing field.
