ConfigurationDesk for RapidPro

Introduction

Below you will find the setup for ConfigurationDesk for RapidPro 6.7.1. This is the latest available version of ConfigurationDesk for RapidPro. You have to use this version with licenses provided for dSPACE Release 2021-A and later.

Version 6.7.1 fixes a problem with the FTDI driver when using the Memory Integrity setting of the Core Isolation security feature in Windows. If you are using ConfigurationDesk 6.7 from dSPACE Release 2021-A (or an earlier version), and you cannot disable the security feature, you can no longer use these versions due to incompatible changes in the FTDI driver. Remedy: Uninstall the version using dSPACE Setup and then install version 6.7.1 with the separate setup (see below) to avoid complications.

You must always install version 6.7.1 after installing software from dSPACE Release 2022-B and later to fix the FTDI driver problem, regardless of whether you use the security feature or not.

Keep in mind, that ConfigurationDesk for RapidPro is no longer included on the dSPACE Release DVDs since 2021-B. Therefore, as of this Release, ConfigurationDesk for RapidPro is installed as a separate software product outside the RCP and HIL installation.
