Developing and testing vehicle dynamics control functions for truck-trailer systems.

The Challenge

To simulate trucks with multiple axle and trailer configurations including semitrailer and dolly trailer, and to simulate road trains.

The Solution

Multiple trailer combinations can be simulated with ASM Vehicle Dynamics in conjunction with ASM Truck and ASM Trailer. Changing the configuration from semitrailer to full trailer is possible just by parameterization. The truck and trailer can be configured with numerous axle configurations. The simulation of liftable axles is also supported.
