About This Training

ControlDesk is the dSPACE experiment software for seamless ECU development. It lets you manipulate signals and parameters and measure the outcome. ControlDesk combines multiple functions that would otherwise require several specialized tools.

It provides access to simulation platforms as well as to connected bus systems and can perform measurement, calibration, and diagnostics on ECUs, e.g., via standardized ASAM interfaces. Its flexible modular structure provides high scalability to meet the requirements of specific application cases, which gives you clear advantages in terms of handling, computing power, and cost savings.

Due to its integrated ECU calibration, measurement and diagnostics access, the ability to perform synchronized data capture across ECUs, RCP and HIL platforms and bus systems, ControlDesk is well suited for every application area. Whether you are performing virtual validation, HIL simulation, or rapid control prototyping: ControlDesk lets you create photorealistic layouts, using a broad portfolio of ready-to-use instruments and instruments of your own design. Furthermore, you can make ASAM-compatible measurements and recordings which you can analyze and postprocess later.

The main focus of this training course is introducing you to the more advanced aspects and modules of ControlDesk, such as the Bus Navigator and the Signal Editor. You will learn how to use the additional modules and how to automate ControlDesk. Furthermore, you will get to know more advanced techniques for instrumentation, measurement, and recording.
