The team has made impressive strides in recent years. Whereas in the past only about 15 to 20 students were actively working on the vehicle, the team today is interdisciplinary and highly interconnected. This growth is leading to the continuous professionalization of the team’s structures and enables it to take the next step – both technically and organizationally – with each new generation of vehicles.
About the team
E-Traxx Düsseldorf is the Formula Student team at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences (HSD). About 70 dedicated students from roughly 15 different degree programs work together across disciplines on the development, design, and manufacturing of our electric race cars. Nearly all departments at HSD are represented: from electrical and information technology to mechanical engineering, design, media, social sciences, and business. This diversity enables the team to combine technical innovation with creative thinking and professional organization.
