TargetLink Utilities

Additional Tools for TargetLink Users

TargetLink Utilities are an add-on to TargetLink to provide support for additional Simulink blocks as well as to simplify certain steps in the development process. Among other things they contain
  • TargetLink equivalents for a number of Simulink blocks like the Bus Assignment block, Width block, Compare To Constant block, Detect Increase block, Interval Test block etc.
  • A hook function manager to properly deal with TargetLink hook functions
  • A logging dialog which simplifies the specification of address-based logging
  • Simplified modeling with structured variables
  • The TargetLink Mask Builder, which simplifies the creation of mask dialogs with TargetLink-related properties

A detailed description of the functionality is included in the PDF file below. A TargetLink installation is required to use these utilities.

Please forward any questions and feedback regarding the utilities to TargetLink support (Support.TL@dspace.de). Use the RSS feed to keep yourself informed about updates.

Please note that these utilities are not part of an official TargetLink release and therefore not subjected to the same quality assurance measures as an official TargetLink release. dSPACE GmbH makes no warranty of any kind with regard to these utilities, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. dSPACE GmbH shall not be liable for errors contained herein or direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages in connection with the furnishing, performance, or use of these utilities.

Please note: The TargetLink Utilities only support TargetLink versions <= 5.1.
For TargetLink versions >= 5.2, please use the functionality provided in the TargetLink Add-On Package, which replaces the TargetLink Utilities.

If you plan using the TargetLink Utilities for the first time for TargetLink versions <= 5.1, consider using the TargetLink Add-On Package instead to avoid migration effort when switching to a newer TargetLink version in the future.
