The SCALEXIO Processing Unit has PCIe and PCI interfaces. Depending on the variant of the SCALEXIO Processing Unit, the number and version of the interfaces are different.

At the rear side of the SCALEXIO Processing Unit is the mains connector and the I/O shield. The I/O shield depends on the variant of the Processing Unit.
