FAQ 145: RTICANMM J1939: Composition of the PGN / Identifier for checksum calculation

Question

I use RTICANMM J1939 and want to calculate checksums. How can I get the J1939 PGN (parameter group number) or J1939 Identifier in the checksum header file?
