Extended SIC and BSC file compatibility; Support of FMUs with internal XCP service implementation according to fmi-ls-xcp; PcapNG bus communication logging

Like ConfigurationDesk, VEOS significantly extended the compatibility for model containers created with prior Releases: SIC and BSC files created with products from the last 7 Releases are supported. Up to and including VEOS 2023‑B, only the last 3 Releases were supported. This means greater freedom when selecting a dSPACE Release in combination with a MATLAB® version.
VEOS supports the simulation of Functional Mock-up Units (FMUs) with an internal XCP service implemented according to the FMI Layered Standard for XCP (fmi‑ls‑xcp). Such FMUs can be generated with dSPACE SystemDesk, for example. VEOS supports the standard versions 1.0.0-rc.1 ... 1.0.0-rc.3. The standard is a first milestone towards a V‑ECU standard: V-ECU FMUs created according to the FMI layered standard can be freely exchanged and simulated by any tools that support this industry standard.
VEOS 2024‑A lets you log bus communication to the PcapNG file format. This is the de-facto-standard format for capture files, and it is supported by many analysis tools, such as Wireshark.
