概述

In the development of ADAS/AD functions and functions used to manage new propulsion technology, simulation is key. It reduces the kilometers spent on test tracks and roads as well as the time to market. Simulation requires a detailed physical model of the vehicle that is connected to virtual representations of electronic control units and realistic sensor simulation. Moreover, a variety of different scenarios and traffic situations is required to test new control units and to identify room for optimization. In this webinar, we will take a closer look at how to set up a simulation environment in which the Automotive Simulation Models and AURELION are used in combination with traffic flow simulation software to validate a V-ECU under realistic traffic conditions combining microscopic traffic flow simulations with nanoscopic ASM Traffic.

Key topics and takeaways:

  • Combination of nano & micro traffic simulation for realistic simulations.
  • Simulation on large road networks.
  • Sensor simulation with externally controlled fellows.
  • Easy Creation of thousands of scenarios, simulations and test cases.
