In the last 20 years, every new, major innovation in the automotive world has increased the amount of data in the vehicle. Today's cars are devices on the Internet, including multiprocessor ECUs and GPUs connected via high-speed networks.

Similarly, the demands on the networks themselves have increased. Flexibility, security, and of course safety, are key factors. This makes the development and testing of ECUs no easy task. Realistic network simulation is a key factor in this task.
