Question

What is the procedure for logging Status with the Logger in the LIN Bus Monitor?

Solution

Add a Logger in Bus Navigator and select the CSV file format as shown in Screenshot 3.

An item called 'Flags' shown in Screenshot 4 is also included – this value represents the Status of the Bus status.

The following table shows the correspondence between Flag values and the status:

Flags Description
0 OK
1 Checksum error
2 Slave Not Responding
4 Data Lost
8 Framing Error
16 Loopback
32 Enhanced
