dSPACE celebrated the opening of its new Silicon Valley office with an open house held on Jan. 13, 2020. The event was attended by customers and partners located in the Northern California region, including the San Francisco Bay Area and the Silicon Valley hub.
Attendees enjoyed appetizers and drinks and watched a variety of product demonstrations and videos. These demonstrations included the new AUTERA AutoBox data logging and prototyping system, which is designed to meet the in-vehicle testing requirements of autonomous driving applications for L3, L4, and L5 development and data annotation and scenario generation capabilities with Understand.AI (a new dSPACE company).
Attendees also learned about the dSPACE capabilities in simulating perception sensors with highly-realistic visualization and gained insights into effective radar sensors testing that uses over-the-air simulation with dSPACE Automotive Radar Test Systems (DARTS).
“Thank you to everyone who attended our open house,” said dSPACE Inc. President Dr. Peter Waeltermann. “We are excited to have an established presence in the Silicon Valley and are looking forward to working with the very talented and capable engineering community that is present here.”
