Query-based execute queues - distributed processing of tests
SYNECT Version 2.7 facilitates distributed test execution on multiple test systems: Assigning a test processing queue to a test system can now be done simply by assigning a matching SYNECT query.
This means that it is now possible to use all existing test systems fully automatically for cross-project test execution, depending on their availability. The query mechanism allows for high-precision and flexible control while distributing to the test systems.
Naturally, the query-based execute queues also take into account that only tests supported by the test system configuration are executed on the respective test system. This avoids the unnecessary blocking of individual test systems.
