End-of-life announcement SCALEXIO Processing Unit HPP (P01) with an Intel XEON® E5-2640v3, 8 cores at 2.6 GHz

The end-of-life of the SCALEXIO Processing Unit HPP (P01) with an Intel XEON® E5-2640v3 with 8 cores at 2.6 GHz is planned for December 31, 2027. As of this date, no services of any kind will be available for this product. We advise against using SCALEXIO Processing Unit HPP (P01) with an Intel XEON® E5-2640v3 (8 cores at 2.6 GHz) in new projects. You can still buy the product until June 30, 2022. New releases of dSPACE software are guaranteed to continue supporting SCALEXIO Processing Unit HPP (P01) until at least the end of 2026. The new version of the SCALEXIO Processing Unit HPP (P02) with latest Intel XEON® 6208U (16 cores at 2.9 GHz) processor is available since 2020.

Successor

For new projects we recommend that you use the latest version of the SCALEXIO Processing Unit HPP (P02) equipped with an Intel XEON® 6208U with 16 cores at 2.9 GHz processor. The SCALEXIO Processing Unit HPP (P02) provides improved performance and the double number of CPU cores to enable more realistic HIL testing. Note that the successor requires a dSPACE Software Release 2020-B or newer, which is compatible with MATLAB R2019a (64-bit) or newer.
