Compact Test Bench

The compact test benches for electrical machines enable the testing of a very wide range of devices, e.g., from household appliances, power tools, and electrical auxiliary units to steering systems or traction drives such as those installed in electric scooters.

On a test bench, a real component is removed from the overall vehicle or tool and subjected to comprehensive tests in a simulated environment in real time. In particular, safety-relevant vehicle components such as the steering or braking system can be tested in corner cases that would not be desirable to do with a real prototype or with actual persons involved.
