正確なアナログ出力チャンネルを備えたDS6242は、ラピッドコントロールプロトタイピング（RCP）およびHIL（Hardware-in-the-Loop）テストアプリケーションに使用することができます。電圧出力および電流シンクをサポートするためのガルバニック絶縁された10個のアナログ出力チャンネルを備えています。電圧出力では、最大3個のチャンネルを組み合わせて-60Vから+60Vまでの電圧範囲をカバーすることが可能です。
ECU機能の開発時には、DS6242がアクチュエータ制御用のアナログ信号ジェネレータとして機能します。テストシナリオでは、センサシミュレーション用の信号を生成します。
