Enhancements to the Bus Navigator, ECU Diagnostics, and electrical error simulation
Starting with ControlDesk 2025‑B, the Bus Navigator can monitor J1939‑21 and J1939‑22 messages for bus communication modeled with the Bus Manager.
Furthermore, ControlDesk has improved the generation of Bus instruments for Bus Manager applications:
- J1939‑76: Safety header message (SHM) support
- Frame triggering inspection support for CAN
- PDU cyclic timing status inspection support for CAN
- Global time domain support for Ethernet
There are two new features for ECU Diagnostics via Unified Diagnostic Services on Diagnostics over Internet Protocol (UDS on DoIP):
- IPv6 address support
- Vehicle discovery support
For SCALEXIO FSX hardware, electrical error simulation provides several improvements:
- EESPort creation by importing a project file from the External Device Editor
- Signal mapping support, i.e., mapping the ECU pins used in your SCALEXIO system to abstract signal names, i.e., user-defined strings
- EESPort demo
Furthermore, ControlDesk now provides the following improvements:
- The import of variable descriptions is no longer interrupted by a dialog when warnings occur, e.g., if referenced variables are not found.
- There is an option to omit parameters without values during data set export.
- The Project Wizard, which lets you define a new project or experiment, was revised.
