General ************************************************************************* This Patch can be installed only to update an existing SystemDesk 25.1 installation. 2. Improvements and Fixed Problems ************************************************************************* SystemDesk 25.1 Patch 2: Modeling - Fixed an issue where an InvalidValue of an ApplicationPrimitiveDataType was resolved incorrectly if the CompuMethod was a type of any TEXTABLE. - Fixed an issue where a ServiceSwComponent was incorrectly removed from the EcuFlatView during synchronization when its ServiceSwComponentType was not located under the EcuConfiguration node. V-ECU Generation - The default value for the BusNotifications parameter has been updated to match the standard. - The EcuMFixedUserConfig symbolic names are generated in a deterministic alphabetical order. - Fixed an issue where RTE interventions could cause an exception when more than 65535 intervention IDs were used. - Increased RxOperationBufferElementSize to 1536. - The basic module structure for the LS-BUS LIN driver is supported. - Fixed an issue where BSW module scripts for certain modules would fail when the VECU_GENERATION_PYTHON_EXECUTABLE environment variable was set. - Fixed Sfc, Cdd, and PduR EPD files to support 3rd-party EcuC module configuration. - Correct target configuration file is now used for A2L update. - Fixed an issue where the Platform_Types.h file was not AUTOSAR-compliant. - Fixed RTE read intervention points for degradated delegation ports. - A warning message is given instead of an error message if the generated A2L element name exceeds 128 Char. - Adjusted the Sab reset message to a more meaningful message when successive reset signals are detected. - Fixed OsCounterMaxAllowedValue with MaxAllowedValue as uint32. - Fixed an issue that set the EXECUTION-CONTEXT of an BswModuleEntry for a PROVIDED-CLIENT-SERVER-ENTRY to UNSPECIFIED instead of TASK. - Validation of the XCP module in the FMU is now executed before XCP code generation. - Adapted CAN module to support AR4.3.1 CanIfARVersion. - The watchdog is now re-armed on each valid call to Wdg_SetTriggerCondition(). Security - This patch contains various security fixes for dSPACE and third-party components. For corresponding third-party updates, refer to the SystemDesk_25.1_OSSAcknowledgements.txt in the legal notices file. 2.1 Improvements and Fixed Problems by Previous Patches ************************************************************************* SystemDesk 25.1 Patch 1: Modeling - Improved rounding of scaled limit value for the A2L export. V-ECU Generation - This patch for SystemDesk 2025-B contains a preview version of the Ethernet Driver for FMI 3.0 with the Layered Standard for Network Communication 1.2.0-alpha.2 for use with dSPACE VEOS 2025-B or other simulators compliant with this pre-release of the layered standard. The preview version of the driver implements AUTOSAR 4.1/4.2/4.3 and supports basic operations such as transmission, reception and mode management. Limitations are that the following features are not yet supported: - Priorization/Filtering with multiple transmission/reception queues (All queues are treated equal) - Transmission/Reception statistics and counters - Time synchronization - Improved RTE generation performance for software components with a large number of parameter accesses. - Fixed the generation of invalid A2L ECU_ADDRESS values for data elements with an "SCALE_LINEAR_AND_TEXTTABLE" compu method. - Reverted the change of A2L variable naming for data elements using compu methods with multiple compu scales (e.g., Var_1, Var_2, ... instead of Var, Var_1, ...). - Fixed an error in the array layout of reversed application data types during A2L import. - Fixed a problem where the Update COM Configuration incorrectly reported an error for IDTs of the TYPE_REFERENCE category. 3. Limitations ************************************************************************* SystemDesk projects saved by this Patch cannot be opened with previous versions of SystemDesk. 4. Installing the Patch ************************************************************************* To install the Patch, you must be logged on with administrator rights and all hotfixes of the current version have to be removed. Close your SystemDesk application and run the executable file. The setup automatically locates and patches the SystemDesk installation. After this Patch is installed, it is displayed in the splash screen, About box, and the Message Browser. *************************************************************************
