This patch is cumulative and includes all bug fixes and improvements from all previously released patches for ControlDesk 2025-A. The patch can be installed on an existing installation of ControlDesk 2025-A. It can be uninstalled if wanted. For uninstalling patches and hot fixes refer to FAQ 186: http://www.dspace.com/faq?186 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Changes in ControlDesk 2025-A (25.1p2) compared to ControlDesk 2025-A (25.1p1) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Automation: ----------- - Fix: The tool could crash if the license was unavailable while the tool was quitting via toolautomation while not saving the experiment - "Application.Quit(False)". (1328561) - Fix: The "ContainsByPath" method did not work correctly if the trc file had the same name as the (sub-)platform in the experiment. (1508227) Bus Navigator: -------------- - Fix: ControlDesk Ethernet monitor sometimes shows unexpected multi-second jumps in timestamps. (1367768) - Fix: If "Generate Array Representation" was enabled, the support for Parameters/Arguments of type "Array" was missing. (1382114) - Fix: Folders becoming unneeded during replacing of a variable description were not removed. (1389468) - Improvement: The performance when loading .expswcfg files has been improved. (1452421) - Fix: The tool could crash when saving an Ethernet monitoring file using a SCALEXIO interface that could not be accessed when the monitor was stopped. (1501093) - Fix: The tool could crash by loading Ethernet ARXML files where TP Configurations is Generic-TP. (1552039) - Fix: When loading an .expSwCfg file, the name for the file is derived by splitting the trace file name at the first "." and only the first segment is taken. This logic failed if the trace filename contained multiple dots. (1560584) Data Set Manager: ----------------- - Improvement: ASAM CDF 2.1 files (.CDFX files) generated by MATLAB could not be imported. (1418337) - Fix: Error message were generated when using "Create Data Set from Open Layout" if Tunable Parameter were present on the layout. (1430534) - Fix: When creating the application image file outside the experiment for MC/MP applications, the application image only contained the part of the last "Create Application Image" command. (1569581) Failure Simulation: ------------------- - Improvement: The signal mapping support for SCALEXIO FSX was enabled. (1465444) Global: ------- - Fix: In some cases a maximized layout or Python document was minimized as soon as you clicked anywhere else, e.g. a different layout. (1468869) Measurement Management: ----------------------- - Fix: The option UsePlatformDefaultRasterForParametersEnabled was not functional for MC/MP platforms. (1387313) - Fix: Variables from an MC/MP application were not restored when reactivating a deactvated recorder. (1390291) - Fix: Reloading variable descriptions needed too much time if a large amount of variables were in the measurement configuration. (1395556) - Fix: When installing ControlDesk Release 2024-B or 2025-A, the Measurement Data API of a ControlDesk release prior to 2024-B became unusable. (1424736) - Fix: The tool could crash when using Switch Data Source for instrumented variables with non-numeric scalings. (1582902) Platforms / Devices: -------------------- - Fix: The capture was not restarted after performing start/stop capture via toolautomation. (1376708) - Improvement: The evaluation of XCP responses for ADD_xy checksums was improved. (1483532) - Fix: In some cases the termination of a diagnostic flash-job did not work. (1499927) - Fix: In case of using a simulation time group with virtual devices (VECUs), duplicate measurement timestamps could occur if the VECUs had different timestamp resolutions and the VECU with the lower resolution was selected as the simulation time group master. (1554617) Security Vulnerabilities: ------------------------- - Fix: Due to security vulnerabilities, the D3Server versions have been updated. (1574991) - Fix: Due to security vulnerabilities, the TMW libraries versions have been updated. (1627339) Variables Management: --------------------- - Fix: The tool did not support the MATRIX_DIM keyword if it was used in a STRUCTURE_COMPONENT. (1276755) - Fix: A Project/Experiment could be corrupted after reloading a variable description while access problems in the experiment file structure existed. (1388547) - Improvement: Improved performance of reloading a variable description when there are many variables in the measurement configuration. (1395498) - Fix: In some cases the logged module name was wrong. (1468005) - Fix: For XIL mappings in the build result, the menu items "Replace Variables with Mappings" and "Replace Mappings with Variables" remained disabled. (1470196) - Fix: Adding a variable description without BuildResultMappings after adding a variable description with BuildResultMappings did not clear the mappings browser. (1490440) - Fix: The TRC parser did not recognize values for array variables correctly if the exponential notation with additive "F" (float) was used, e.g. "2e-2F". (1530113) - Fix: Variable mappings could be deactivated while the tool is online or measuring, which means that the variables could then no longer be resolved. (1572379) - Fix: The search window in the "Variables" tab overlapped the scrollbar of the variables list. (1603909) - Improvement: The handling of XIL mapping files from build results in ControlDesk experiments was improved. (1607522) - Fix: Adding variables to the Measurement Signal List via .SPPath was not possible via toolautomation, if sub-application and sub-model had the same name. (1614619) Visualization: -------------- - Fix: In some cases the tool could crash when using the command "Create Layout Copy". (1503604) - Fix: In some cases, the tool could crash when using measured values for a manually created signal. (1505991) - Fix: The tool could crash if the cell type of a non-visible HierarchyArray was changed. (1517110) - Fix: The line styles "Staircase" and "Area Staircase" of a plotter instrument were not functional in a newly created plotter. (1525921) - Fix: The option in the time plotter to deactivate one variable erroneously deactivated all variables. (1542069) - Fix: A maximized split screen with two layouts led to a minimized layout as soon as you clicked somewhere else (e.g. in another layout) and again in one of the two layouts in split screen mode. (1542507) - Fix: The tool could crash when importing several layouts in a loop using toolautomation that contained plotter instruments with a visible toolbar. (1551917) - Fix: The access to OpenStreeMaps tiles in the map instrument (Browser Examples) was fixed. (1610292) - Fix: An instrument could not be connected via SPPath if sub-application and sub-model had the same name. (1627166) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Changes in ControlDesk 2025-A (25.1p1) compared to ControlDesk 2025-A (25.1) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bus Navigator: -------------- - Improvement: The use of an external ethernet decoder plug-in for "Decoding View" was enabled. (1334618) - Fix: PDUs were not decoded if the length of the PDU did not match the length defined in the AUTOSAR file. (1334772) - Fix: The order of the "Feature" elements specified in the layout description file was not displayed correctly in the Bus Navigator instruments. (1382119) EES Port: --------- - Fix: If the EES port was deactivated and then reconfigured, it then issued an error message. (1367520) Measurement Management: ----------------------- - Fix: No error messages were displayed when loading MF4 files with invalid meta data failed. (1322409) - Fix: It was not possible to remove certain curves from a MF4 file. (1356016) Signal Editor: -------------- - Fix: The tool could crash when closing the active project if a signal generator has been downloaded and the hardware is powered off.
