Improvements & Fixed Problems --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - General: This patch contains essential bug fixes for VEOS 25.2. Use this patch for all VEOS 25.2 installations. Patch 2: - Fixed an issue where invalid UTF-8 log messages were sent to VeosKernel. (1459051) - Fixed an issue where the simulation could fail when a bus error message contained invalid UTF-8 characters. (1561625) - Fixed an issue where HostPC64/GCC would not resolve library dependencies provided as linker options. (1563737) - Made the definition of bus access request handle variables for FMU bus communication optional. (1538112) - FlexRay Bus Simulation: Made static transmissions propagation time depend on the baud rate. (1551840) - Fixed a crash in Bus Simulation related to DsLin 1.4. (1553937) - Fixed a crash in FlexRay simulation, where trying to transmit data over Channel A and B simultaneously resulted in the transmission crashing because of a misconfiguration. (1556906) - When the acceleration factor is set to 0 and a simulation is started, a message falsely said: "Simulation will run with the following acceleration factor: Infinity". It now says "Simulation will run with the following acceleration factor: 0" as set in the config. (1570521) - VeosPlayer/ComAutomation: Fixed loading time when many additional files are used. (1551125) Security: This patch contains various security fixes for dSPACE and third-party components. For corresponding third-party updates, refer to the VEOS_2025B_Patch2_OSSAcknowledgements.txt in the legal notices file. Patch 1: - Per machine timeouts are now working for veos-sim. (1460547) - Setting the acceleration factor to "0" using veos-sim will now show the value "0". (1471551) - Problem fixed: Removing a property from property grid no longer causes VeosPlayer to crash. (1509059) - Problem fixed: If a .json file is imported and a value is removed from an Out Port via the property grid, the value will be removed correctly now. (1520130) - Fixed an issue that occurred during remote QEMU simulation when the current user was accessing a temporary directory that was already created by another user on the same machine. (1485596) - The GCC linker option "-T" can be used to pass a linker command file to the linker. For the cmake build, relative paths for the linker command file were not previously supported. With this bug fix, relative paths are now also supported. (1520223) - Added an error message when trying to run an Adaptive V-ECU. (1493237) - Problem fixed: The property grid is updated again by pressing the arrow keys in the port and network view. (1509864) - Increased DsDAQ time resolution on Windows. (1472446) Security: This patch contains various security fixes for dSPACE and third-party components. For corresponding third-party updates, refer to the VEOS_2025B_Patch1_OSSAcknowledgements.txt in the legal notices file. 3. Limitations --------------------------------------------------------------------------- No known limitations. 4. Installing the Patch --------------------------------------------------------------------------- To install the patch, you must be logged on with administrator rights.
