FAQ 718: Evaluation board does not respond during mixed FLEXlm/dongle use
Question
I have a license for mixed FLEXlm/dongle use. Whenever I remove the dongle in order to work with a floating license, the Target Simulation does not work any more. I get an error message like:
"Target does not respond to startup signal on port COM1"
As soon as I plug in my dongle in the port I use for my dongle, the error does not occur again. What can I do?
