FAQ 231: Foreign character encoding in Simulink models
Question
When I open a Simulink model, the following warning message is displayed:
(Warning: Unable to load model file '<model>.mdl' due to the presence of characters that are not supported in the current character encoding setting …)
Why does this happen and how can I solve the problem?
