DS6802 Fault Insertion Board
SCALEXIO FSX board for fault insertion with 32 channels and a central semiconductor switch
The DS6802 Fault Insertion Board provides 32 channels to switch electrical faults based on relays or a semiconductor switch. The board thus extends the standard SCALEXIO I/O boards with the option of switching electrical faults.
The semiconductor switch in combination with the IOCNET 100M technology enables precise switching of faults, including dynamic errors.
With a voltage range of up to 60 V and a current range of up to 5 A, it covers common applications in automotive control units. It is connected to four internal failrails (VBat, GND, and two common rails), to support failures against VBat, GND, and Pin to Pin.
