DS6101-05 requires at least Release 2020-B

Compatibility of DS6101 revisions with Releases

New DS6101 boards from revision 05 require Release 2020-B or newer.

There are no functional changes compared to revision 04. Only the chipset of the DS6101-05 has been changed compared to revision 04. 

Firmware updates for Releases from 2020-B are available. If you are still working with Releases prior to 2020-B, you need a DS6101-04.

Revision DS6101-04 is also supported by Release 2024-B and newer.

First deliveries of DS6101-05 boards started in December 2024.

How can I check the revision of DS6101 in my SCALEXIO system?

You can check the revision of existing DS6101 boards in the properties section of the Platform view.

Please note that the screenshot still shows a DS6101-04 board!
