1. General

This patch can be installed only after the installation of
Model Compare 2024-B (24.1) from dSPACE Release 2024-B or 2025-A.


2. Content of This Patch
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This patch fixes the following issues:
   - Security vulnerabilities in third-party dependencies of Model Compare.

This patch for Model Compare 2024-B should be installed
by all users who have experienced the problems described above and by all users before or
immediately after installing dSPACE Release 2025-A .

3. Limitations and Workaround
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The patch fixes the problems of Model Compare 2024-B as described above.

You must have Model Compare 2024-B installed from dSPACE Release 2024-B or 2025-A.

If you want to uninstall the patch after installing it, 
use the Windows Control Panel: Select "Uninstall an update"
and choose MOC2024p1 in Windows 10.
It is not possible to uninstall the patch alone on Windows 11. If you want to 
uninstall the patch after installing it on Windows 11, you must uninstall 
Model Compare 2024-B.


4. Installing the Patch
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To install the patch, you must be logged on with administrator rights.

Ensure that Model Compare 2024-B is installed.

To install, simply run the executable.
The setup will automatically locate and patch the Model Compare 2024-B
installation. The splash screen and the About box of Model Compare will
indicate whether the patch was successfully installed.

Remember to install this patch again if you reinstall Model Compare 2024-B or
install Model Compare on an additional computer.
