FAQ 177: Updating the Firmware of the DS1552 I/O Extension

Question

When loading a real-time application to a MicroAutoBox II, the following error message is displayed:

[#6] ds1401 - RTLIB DIO: FPGA_TP1_M1 init: The required extended I/O firmware is not installed. See the extended I/O user guide for more information.

What do I have to do to solve the problem?
