The AUTOSAR NM Solution enables you to emulate an ECU’s AUTOSAR network management characteristics within automotive networks to simulate or test real ECUs.
What is the Diagnostic Gateway Solution?
The Diagnostic Gateway Solution is a Simulink blockset that provides gateway functionality for diagnostic communication in dSPACE development and test environments. It enables the routing of UDS messages between Ethernet (IPv4/IPv6), CAN/CAN FD, and, as a customer-specific extension, FlexRay. The supported diagnostic protocols are DoIP (ISO 15765-2) for Ethernet and ISO-TP (ISO 13400-2) for CAN/CAN FD.
The solution can be integrated directly into existing workflows and facilitates the implementation of reproducible diagnostic procedures in HIL operations.
Application Areas
The Diagnostic Gateway Solution is designed for development and test engineers, OEMs, and suppliers who want to efficiently validate diagnostic architectures in modern vehicles.
Typical applications include:
- Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
- Validation of multibus diagnostic concepts
- Early validation of gateway and diagnostic functions in the model
The AUTOSAR NM solution resolves the issue of network management implementation in customer applications, in HIL, SIL and RCP use cases. Moreover, the solution is implemented in the form of a MATLAB®/Simulink® blockset.
What is more, it supports the partial network feature, allowing each PNC to be activated or deactivated individually, while the PDUs are sent on the bus when the ECU receives a request.
In addition, the solution supports CAN (FD), FlexRay, and automotive Ethernet according to the AUTOSAR specification.
The AUTOSAR NM solution is compatible with real-time simulation platforms and VEOS, giving you flexibility in choosing the dSPACE platform for simulation or testing your applications.
