Testing Traction Motor Inverters

Do you want to test inverters for traction motors with real currents – ideally even before the first tests in the real vehicle? Then you should benefit from the many advantages power hardware-in-the-loop (PHIL) simulation has to offer. dSPACE provides a sophisticated, highly scalable system for this purpose, perfectly suited for testing the various power electronics components of an electric vehicle, including the most important one, the traction motor inverter. Learn more about the practical use case on our website.

Safety - The Comprehensive View

The integration of ADAS/AD functions in vehicles serves one goal: To ensure and, where possible, increase the safety of all road users. But what needs to be considered in the validation of intelligent systems? Is the consideration of regulations, test scenarios, sensors, and functions sufficient, or does the dynamic behavior of the vehicle also play a decisive role?

AUTERA SDI: Optimized Transmission of Camera Raw Data

Do you connect a host of high-resolution cameras to a data logger? With the AUTERA Sensor Data Interface (SDI), you can transfer raw data from up to eight cameras to a data logger or a prototyping system with the option to simultaneously provide the data to an ECU (TAP mode) with low latencies and high data rates. AUTERA SDI flexibly handles camera raw data via exchangeable interface boards and is optimized for in-vehicle use. In addition, the system can also replay recorded data to an ECU at a later stage.

Video: Seamless collaboration in testing

Distributed testing in teams has become an everyday routine, as an increasing number of colleagues work from home or different company locations. This is a challenge in the establishment of a robust test process, since quick, direct chats in a shared office space are not possible. Tracking changes and states is also valuable for reliable planning and continuous integration and testing workflows. Improvements in SYNECT and AutomationDesk support your test workflows seamlessly and with utmost transparency. For more information and a typical use case, watch this Innovation Coffee Brake. We also offer a step-by-step introduction in our tutorial videos.
