SCALEXIO Interface Solutions for Aerospace

Interface to ARINC664/AFDX, ARINC 429 or MIL-STD-1553 networks

The SCALEXIO Interface Solutions for Aerospace enables the connection of a SCALEXIO real-time system to ARINC664/AFDX, ARINC 429, or MIL-STD-1553 networks. All interface solutions are based on PMC/XMC modules from AIT, a full-featured and industry-proven hardware. The configuration process is based on ConfigurationDesk® while setups done with AIT Flight Simulyzers can be integrated.

Interface Solution for ARINC 429

  • 4, 8, 16, or 32 TX/RX channels per PMC module
  • Channels usable as input or output channel
  • Programmable by software

The SCALEXIO Interface Solution for ARINC 429 enables the connection of a dSPACE real-time system to an ARINC 429 network. ARINC 429 is typically used in commercial aircraft projects.

The solution is based on PMC modules from AIT, a full-featured and aerospace-industry-proven hardware. The PMC modules are installed on a carrier board that is plugged into the SCALEXIO Processing Unit1), providing the optimal bandwidth to the real-time model. dSPACE specifically developed QNX device drivers to ensure real-time simulation capability.

Configuration with the well-known and established AIT Flight Simulyzers is seamlessly integrated into the configuration process via dSPACE ConfigurationDesk.
