In ASM, two different model variants for tires are implemented: TMeasy and Magic Formula. In dSPACE Release 2025-A and earlier, both tire model variants were contained in the ASM demo models but only one was used in the simulation. When you created a parameter set in ModelDesk, you could select which variant was to be used. As of dSPACE Release 2025-B, ASM demo models contain only one tire model variant, the TMeasy tire model by default. You can use the Demo System Exchange feature in ASM to exchange the tire model. Therefore, selecting the tire model variant in ModelDesk is no longer required.
The import of objects from OpenDRIVE files is improved. You can evaluate the type, subtype, and name attributes of the objects in the OpenDRIVE files to map to ModelDesk's traffic objects.
The experiment configuration dialogs now leverage a modern user interface framework, providing a more responsive and visually appealing experience. Dialog layouts have been redesigned for greater clarity and efficiency.
ModelDesk has alternative navigation and parameter pages for trucks. If you parameterize a truck model, you can configure ModelDesk to display these pages instead of the default pages that display a car.
