The Bus Manager 2025-B (25.4) now provides significantly extended support for the SAE J1939 Functional Safety Communication Protocol (J1939‑76). In addition to simulating the transmission of a 'safety data message' (SDM) and its related 'safety header message' (SHM), you can now also simulate the receipt of these messages. You can use the 'J1939 SHM Status' feature to access the status of the simulated RX SHMs. Moreover, the Bus Manager now lets you manipulate an SHM before it is transmitted on the bus. You can do this using the new 'J1939 SHM Authenticator Invalidation', 'J1939 SHM Checksum Invalidation', 'J1939 SHM Sequence Counter Overwrite', and 'Suspend J1939 SHM Transmission' features.
