ConfigurationDesk provides a new component called Graphical SCALEXIO Configurator. With this new component, you are able to set up a SCALEXIO system as a graphical representation of a real SCALEXIO system in ConfigurationDesk. You can use all the necessary hardware elements from a toolbox to build a SCALEXIO rack. In a first step, the toolbox contains the hardware elements required to set up a SCALEXIO FSX rack based on the new fault simulation hardware. The toolbox includes I/O units, I/O boards, processing units, battery simulation hardware, and mechanical parts as connection modules with their connectors. In addition, you can set up the internal wiring, such as the wiring from the connection modules to the SCALEXIO boards.
You can now use ConfigurationDesk 2024-B (24.3) in combination with the software products of dSPACE Release 2024-A. This allows you to use a higher ConfigurationDesk version while all other products continue to be used with their versions included in dSPACE Release 2024-A. This also means that you can continue to work with the MATLAB versions supported by dSPACE Release 2024-A. So you do not have to make any further changes to your tool chain.
You can reuse a fixed bundle of user-specific settings from previous ConfigurationDesk versions to enable an easy transition to a newer version. For example, you now can import the settings the first time you start ConfigurationDesk after installation.
